Pearl powder, a traditional Chinese medication derived from salt-water pearls, is renowned for improving skin condition and its anti-inflammatory and detoxification properties. Our design objective is to bridge the gap with the newer generation, fostering trust in traditional Chinese medicine while maintaining a contemporary twist, and not becoming like those over-packaged mooncakes. We employ 'ink-like' illustrations, inspired by Chinese ink painting, to convey pearl's elegance. The packaging embodies humility, authenticity, and a departure from traditional luxury designs. It features hand-folded, glue-free paper wrapping, secured with a small end sticker.
